Nintendo Wii
I had the greatest time this week. There was a contest going on at the recreation center. A company brought in six large screen TV’s, each with a Nintendo Wii. They had the Wii sports bowling game set up. For three days everyone could play bowling on the Nintendo Wii. Each day the top eight players from each age group qualified for the big contest. After three days there were 24 players for each age group.
My grandson, who is eight, qualified for the under twelve group. I tried to qualify for my age group but did not make it. There are some very good players that got scores of two hundred and up. It was fun trying though. I am looking forward to watching my grandson playing in the finals. There are some prizes for the top three players of each age group. The top prize for each group is a Nintendo Wii. I hope my grandson wins it. If not I am picking a Nintendo Wii up this weekend. It was too much fun to play not to get one. My grandson already has a couple of games picked out. This is going to make the summer lots of fun, even when it rains.
