Video Games Not Candy For Easter |

My husband and I refuse to purchase lots of candy for our grandkids when occasions like Valentine’s Day and Easter come along. We usually buy the kids video games or other consumer electronics that we know they want. For example this year the eldest child, Alisha, asked for a digital camera and each of the two boys wanted a new video game. I bought the digital camera and video games online so I got excellent value for money and did not have to spend too much money. I am happy that I got the kids consumer electronics instead of candy. Too many kids these days eat more candy than they should and some of them end up with diabetes because of it. I don’t want that to happen to any of my three step-grandkids because my husband and I are raising them and they feel like my own kids. That is why we would rather get then video games and control the amount of candy they get instead of giving them an excessive amount. The video games and other consumer electronics last a lot longer than chocolate and candy anyway so they make much better gifts, at least I think so.
