I was a little surprised a few days ago when I received a package containing a wireless router. I’ve always been the technical minded one in the house, so I had a really hard time imagining that my husband had ordered it himself so I called him at work. I explained that we’d just received a package from a store online and that it contained a wireless router. I asked if he knew anything about it and he said that he had ordered it. Before I could ask any questions, he said that he’d heard from a colleague of his that having a wireless router was the way to go with Internet in a home with multiple connections. I guess he had explained that we had three computers connected to our current system and that there were literally wires running throughout the house. We’ve also been considering ordering a laptop so that would add yet another computer and another wire, so he thought it would be good to try the wireless router and see if it simplified things. I knew without asking that I would be the one setting everything up, so I told him I’d try to have it done by the time he got home. The wireless router turned out to be simple to set up and install on all computers and within 15 minutes I was done.
