video game The morning clouds are darker then normal as shadows creep in and out of my bedroom through the curtains. Wind pushes grey cumulous in front and past the rising sun. News reports have said rain will fall from early afternoon until evening. By the heavy looking sky, rain will probably be peppering the dry California sidewalks sooner then later. It is the weekend and I have no plans. Hopping out of the shower now awake but still in that peaceful state a nice winter rain can bring, my mind wanders to the next move. Some breakfast, check email, listen to music and then it is into a video game state of mind.

Better then daytime TV or braving the elements without an umbrella, a video game state of mind takes me from an Italian racetrack alive with the sound of rear wheel drive exotics to a WWII battlefield in the South Pacific. I’m soaring through the clouds in an old Japanese Zero before parachuting out towards the sandy island below. Concentration breaks as a friend sends me a game invite. Nothing like a video game state of mind.
